The story of True Albino Teacher began when several unusually pale fruiting bodies appeared during a Golden Teacher cultivation. Jik Fibs selected these unusual specimens and continued working with the genetics over subsequent generations.

The objective was to establish a stable albino expression rather than a partially pigmented or leucistic phenotype. The resulting TAT genetics became recognised for their pronounced white appearance and distinctive morphology.

TAT has subsequently gained attention as a parent in modern cubensis breeding. Its reported lineage has been incorporated into several well-known exotic varieties, including Jack Frost and Yeti.

Golden Teacher, Albino Golden Teacher or True Albino Teacher?

These names are sometimes used interchangeably, but they refer to distinct phenotypes and selections. Although they share Golden Teacher ancestry, their appearance and genetic characteristics can differ:
