KÄÄPÄ Health Lion’s Mane Tincture is made from organic Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus) fruiting bodies, cultivated in Finland and harvested at optimal maturity. Each batch undergoes a carefully controlled dual-extraction process using both alcohol and water to help capture a broad range of naturally occurring compounds from the mushroom. The resulting liquid extract is concentrated, carefully produced and fully traceable. It is supplied in protective Miron glass bottles, designed to help shield the contents from light.

About Lion’s Mane (Hericium erinaceus)

Lion’s Mane is an unmistakable white mushroom characterised by its cascading, hair-like spines. It naturally grows on hardwood trees throughout temperate regions of Europe, Asia and North America.

Also known as Hedgehog Mushroom or Yamabushitake, Hericium erinaceus has a long history in East Asian culinary and traditional wellness practices. Today, it is one of the most extensively researched functional mushroom species.

Lion’s Mane fruiting bodies contain a variety of naturally occurring compounds, including:

Dual-Extraction Process

KÄÄPÄ Biotech produces this extract using a dual-extraction method applied to dried Lion’s Mane fruiting bodies.

Only fruiting bodies are used in the production process — no mycelium or grain is added. The concentrated extract is produced using both water and organic alcohol to help extract different naturally occurring constituents.

Approximately 1 kg of dried fruiting bodies produces around 20 litres of finished tincture.

Each production batch can be traced using the QR code printed on the bottle, providing additional transparency regarding its origin and production.

How to Use Lion’s Mane Tincture

Lion’s Mane has traditionally been incorporated into East Asian food and wellness practices, including use as a daily mushroom preparation. For modern use, take up to 2 ml per day. The tincture can be placed directly under the tongue or incorporated into drinks and recipes such as:

• Coffee
• Tea
• Smoothies
• Other everyday recipes

The 30 ml bottle is supplied with a pipette delivering approximately 0.6 ml per full pipette, while the 50 ml bottle pipette provides approximately 1 ml per full pipette. KÄÄPÄ Health recommends taking a one-week break after every three months of continuous use. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake of 2 ml.
