About Chaga (Inonotus obliquus)

Chaga is a slow-growing fungus that develops dark, rugged conks on birch trees in northern boreal forests. Its striking black exterior and contrasting interior make it one of the most recognisable forest fungi in northern regions.

Chaga has a long history within Finnish, Sámi and Russian forest traditions. Traditionally, dried Chaga conks were prepared as a hot forest infusion. Dual-Extraction Process

KÄÄPÄ Biotech processes dried Chaga conks using a dual-extraction method at a 1:5 ratio.

The process combines alcohol extraction with subsequent hot-water extraction, allowing different water-soluble and alcohol-soluble constituents to be incorporated into the finished liquid extract.

Every batch is fully traceable using a QR code printed on the bottle, providing additional information about the product’s origin and production.

How to Use Chaga Tincture

Chaga has traditionally been prepared as a forest tea and incorporated into northern European wellness traditions. For convenient everyday use, take up to 2 ml per day. The tincture may be taken sublingually by placing the drops under the tongue or incorporated into drinks and recipes such as:

• Smoothies
• Other suitable recipes

The 30 ml bottle pipette provides approximately 0.6 ml per full pipette, while the 50 ml bottle pipette provides approximately 1 ml per full pipette. KÄÄPÄ Health recommends taking a one-week break after every three months of continuous use. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake of 2 ml.
