Origin & Genetics
Jack Frost was developed around 2018–2019 and is attributed to mycologist Dave Wombat of the TAT Syndicate. The variety was created from two recognised albino lines: True Albino Teacher (TAT) and Albino Penis Envy (APE).
The resulting hybrid combines several distinctive characteristics associated with its parent lines. Its appearance is notably pale, with white fruiting structures and pronounced blue bruising. The combination of albino pigmentation and unusual morphology has made Jack Frost a particularly interesting subject for comparative mycology and microscopy.
As a hybrid line, Jack Frost is also notable for its limited and difficult-to-observe spore production. This characteristic further distinguishes it from heavily printing Psilocybe cubensis varieties.
